Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during this time of crisis and recovery.

Midwest Hit by Multiple Storms

Dozens of tornadoes and intense thunderstorms  hit the Midwest on Sunday. Powerful winds flattened entire neighborhoods, leaving at least six people dead.

In Washington, a rural Illinois community, whole blocks of houses were erased from the landscape. Intense thunderstorms and giant hail threatened 53 million people across 10 states, leaving tens of thousands without power.

Typhoon Haiyan Hits the Philippines

Packing winds of nearly 200 mph, Super Typhoon Haiyan blasted the Philippines Friday. Thousands evacuated villages in the central Philippines in the wake of the largest typhoon ever recorded. Typhoon Haiyan killed at least 3,976 people, and another 1,600 are missing, according to the latest government tally.

Typhoon Haiyan has displaced an estimated 4 million people in the Philippines, posing an extraordinary challenge to government and relief agencies.
