In response to the recent tornadoes that have hit the Southern U.S., the Nationwide Insurance Foundation has contributed $450,000 to the American Red Cross. This gift brings Nationwide&#8217;s total contribution in 2011 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief to $1.5 million. Zurich Financial Services Group and its subsidiary Farmers Insurance have pledged to donate $250,000 to the American Red Cross in the name of Bubba Watson, winner of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. In addition, Farmers gave another $50,000 to the Governor&#8217;s Relief Fund for the exclusive use of the Governor of Alabama to support victims of the storms in his state. Zurich, N.A. is also matching employee donations to the 2011 Spring Storms Fund of the American Red Cross, dollar for dollar up to $500.]]></description>
